about me

I'm Frank Haluska, and as long as I can remember, wildlife has been a passion of mine.  I went to school, studied Biology, and took a few photography classes, but it was only after graduating and beginning to travel the world that I began to fall in love with wildlife photography as its own discipline.

Calling Florida home, I am surrounded by several amazing ecosystems, and I thoroughly enjoy hiking among the wetlands, forests, and swamps that Florida is best known for.  Most of my free time is spent exploring these amazing areas, honing my photography skill and showcasing many of our most stunning creatures.

However, I live for the tropics.  The biodiversity of these parts of the world is overwhelming, and it is a focal point in my portfolio. I am fascinated by all types of creatures; from the smallest insects and arachnids to dangerous and reclusive reptiles and amphibians.  From the the most dazzling birds, to the iconic megafauna that adorn guidebooks and tourist brochures.  I strive to showcase a glimpse of the creatures that inhabit these most precious ecosystems, and welcome you to join in my adventures and discoveries.

Education.  Inspiration.  Conservation.
